Pet Respect is a new charity operating in the Hull area our main priority is to engage as many primary school children as possible. By Using innovative ideas we promote responsible pet ownership, anti-animal cruelty addressing issues of bullying and promoting our motto. Our service we provide in schools is free of charge! Pet Respect is run by Kim Hepple (the founder of the project) and Marina Hartley, both of whom are big animal lovers. The Golden Rule in life –Treat others as you would like be treated yourself. At present she is learning to do scent work.
Border collies are very active dogs and take a lot of looking after, they need a lot of exercise, grooming, entertaining and training. A bored border collie will let its owners know it is unhappy. Our services with Jess are Pet Therapy, Animal assisted activities, dog phobia sessions or fun sessions for Beaver, scout, brownie and guide groups. We offer a three week Pet respect programme for primary schools which links into citizenship/ community/anti-bulling issues and Responsible pet ownership and a World War Two workshop which is about animals roles in the war.
